The method of adding microsilica powder is divided into internal doping and external doping.
Internal doping: Under the premise of constant water addition, 1 part of silicon powder can replace 3-5 parts of cement (weight) and keep the compressive strength of concrete unchanged to improve other properties of concrete.
External blending: the amount of cement is unchanged, and the addition of microsilica powder significantly improves the strength and other properties of the concrete. Concrete has a certain slump loss when it is mixed with microsilica. This point needs to be taken care of in the mix ratio test.
Microsilica powder concrete and castables should be constructed and matched by the laboratory. Construction in strict accordance with the mix ratio. The microsilica powder was added to the blender immediately after the aggregate was charged. There are two ways to join:
1. Inject the aggregate, then add the micro-silica powder, dry the cement, and then add water and other admixtures.
2. Inject coarse aggregate +75% water + micro silicon powder + 50% fine aggregate, stir for 15-30 seconds, then put in cement + admixture + 50% fine aggregate + 25% water, stir until uniform. The mixing time is 20-25% or 50-60 seconds longer than ordinary concrete.
